By Staff Copy RECYCLING ideas have been top of the curriculum for pupils of Longman’s Hill Primary this week. Teachers and students at the Selby school have spent time researching and collecting data about recycling, and even making their own clothes from recycled materials before performing their own in-house fashion show.

ROYDS Hall High School has been awarded the Kirklees Healthy School Standard Gold award. Suzy Rhodes, the Primary Care Trust’s Healthy Schools Co-ordinator, said that Royds Hall High School has an active school council which helps get the message across and that it has carried out improvements to school lunches.
Member of the school council, Matt Caine, aged 14, who helped to voice pupils’ opinions to developers, said: “We are really pleased with the design.
